Refund & Return Policy

Returns & Cancellations

At Cabinet Essentials, every order is manufactured or assembled specifically for each customer. Because our products are made to order, we do not stock inventory that can be resold.

For this reason, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has entered production.

If you need to make changes to your order before production begins, please contact us as soon as possible. While changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed after an order has been confirmed, we will do our best to accommodate your request whenever possible.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your order arrives with shipping damage, manufacturing defects, missing components, or incorrect items, please notify us within 2 business days of delivery by emailing info@cabineteffects.ca.

To help us resolve your claim as quickly as possible, please include:

• Your order number
• Photographs of the issue
• A brief description of the problem

If a product is confirmed to be damaged during shipping, manufactured incorrectly, defective, or supplied in error, Cabinet Essentials will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Depending on the situation, we may:

• Supply replacement parts
• Repair the affected product
• Replace the affected cabinet or component
• Provide another appropriate solution

Approved warranty claims and shipping-related issues will be resolved at no additional cost to the customer.

Warranty

Cabinet Essentials stands behind the quality of our products.

Our warranty includes:

• 5-Year Limited Warranty on cabinet boxes and components against manufacturing defects.
• 2-Year Limited Warranty on premium lacquer-finished doors and drawer fronts.

This warranty applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Improper installation
• Misuse, abuse, or neglect
• Normal wear and tear
• Excessive moisture, flooding, or water damage
• Accidents or impacts
• Alterations or modifications made after delivery
• Improper cleaning methods or harsh chemicals
• Natural variations in wood grain, colour, or painted finishes
• Normal expansion, contraction, or aging of natural materials

Shipping Policy

Cabinet Essentials currently ships cabinetry throughout Canada.

Online checkout is currently available only for customers within our local delivery area or those selecting free pickup. Customers outside our delivery area should contact us for a custom freight quote before ordering

Local Delivery (Southwestern Ontario)

Local delivery is available throughout Southwestern Ontario and is automatically calculated at checkout based on your order size and delivery location.

Available delivery options and pricing will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Nationwide Shipping

Shipping outside of our local delivery area is available by custom freight quote.

Because cabinetry varies significantly in size, weight, and packaging requirements, we are unable to offer flat-rate shipping across Canada.

If you are located outside of Southwestern Ontario, please contact us before placing your order by emailing info@cabineteffects.ca.

To request a shipping quote, please include:

• Your shipping address or postal code
• The products you wish to purchase

We'll prepare a customized freight quote and coordinate delivery once your order is confirmed.

Note: Shipping prices displayed on Google Shopping are estimated delivery charges for our local service area. Customers outside our local delivery area will receive a custom freight quote before ordering.

Shipping Information

• Orders typically ship within 10–15 business days, unless otherwise noted.
• Delivery times may vary depending on your location and selected delivery method.
• Free pickup is available from our facility in St. Clements, Ontario.
• Local delivery throughout Southwestern Ontario is often completed by our own team to help ensure your cabinetry arrives safely and in excellent condition.
• Orders outside our local delivery area are shipped using trusted third-party freight carriers.
• Tracking information will be provided for freight shipments where available.
• Please inspect all products upon delivery and report any visible shipping damage within 48 hours.

Terms of Service

By placing an order with Cabinet Essentials, you agree to the following:

• Product dimensions and specifications are provided as accurately as possible.
• Customers are responsible for verifying measurements, fit, installation requirements, and product suitability before ordering.
• Product availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order due to pricing errors, product availability, suspected fraud, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.
